For some days there are problems in the script by opening the tools menu item components. It seems that there is a conflict between the Google Toolbar add-ons and personas (the add-on to customize the graphics in Firefox). This is the error that I found: script nsExtensionManager.js: 623.
To resolve this error (which I have had on Mac OS, but there seems to be on Windows), you
run Firefox in Safe Mode (how to do it you will find on the internet), go to the add-ons and disable or uninstall the add Personas-on (it took me just turn it off). Hoping that Mozilla 
resolve the error as soon as possible, but at least Firefox nails.
