Sometimes you see your Mac that once turned on, the hard drive stops working. There are programs that make heavy use of reading / writing hard drive, but we do not know which one.
There 's a great way to find out what processes are at the moment are using the Hard Disk. From the terminal type the command
iotop C-5 12 and will be displayed every 5 seconds to 12 processes that are using more than the disk, so your curiosity will be filled.
